Medium: oil on shaped canvas

Notes:
One of only three Cross paintings ever offered to collectors, inspired by light on the water, and in the landscape. Parker saw the cross as representing 'an intersection, a station, a crossroads. Although recognising the cross as an archetypal symbol, his intent was to 'put a feeling of the landscape inside it'.
