One of two brooches (the other monochrome) in the Connect series, based on studies of a harakeke fishing net in the Canterbury Museum collection; the knot symbolising one of our myriad brain connections and referring to the drawing together or interweaving of people with support communities. Connect celebrates 'BrainTree' which is establishing a facility to support Cantabrians with neurological conditions.
